edit - Gotta say, the crowd over here (lemmy) at unixporn is unexpectedly heartwarming, did not expect it anywhere close to reddit’s but here it’s probably better. Ty everyone for throwing love at my rice ;)
Cool af…
Appreciate that!
Disgustingly good, I love it
Thanks man!

Never heard of Void Linux. Why did you choose that distro?
It doesn’t use systemd
@theshatterstone54 @BaroqueInMind And what does it change?
@[email protected] did mention the obvious reasons, but in the grand scheme of things I use runnit over systemD as it adheres more to the UNIX philosophy.
It’s the only rolling release distribution that is reliably stable. I don’t use debian and arch because systemD, and artix and devuan are non-systemD, but forks, hence I do not prefer them.
@savar95x awesome stuff!!
More like dwm stuff ;)
I like the title reference and the screenshot, but are you doing all of these things at the same time? I couldn’t focus.
Nope, I made the rice in my vacays (still going on) after semester 2, but I watched the show last year (when it was released)
Very nice:)
Ty!
This is a fine rice, my dude.
Glorious. Fucking glorious.
thank you fellow void user :)

Wouldn’t launcher be dmenu?
Fuck … thanks, yes it is dmenu
Beautiful rice!
Hey thanks!
This is sexy as fuck.
is this an endless space reference ?
I’m sorry I do not know what that is. I just kept that because I was obsessed with The Sandman when it came out. Mind enlightening me?
it’s a good sci-fi, 4X, turn-based video game. The lore is about an extinct powerful godlike civilization called the endless. Many artifacts / places / technologies / songs are called “… …of the endless”. So the title “Dream of the Endless” made me think of it
