The comparisons with DLSS3 at the very end are very impressive, especially considering there is no special hardware being used.
Hopefully this is simple for developers to implement!
Being team red, I just want this to work well… hopefully they make good on their promise of increasing FPS on older games too
I wouldn’t mind seeing this in a Cyberpunk 2077 update :3
Its one of the planned games isnt it? 👀
For me latency is becoming the next issue. Based on Dlss3, not to mention you’ll usually use it in conjunction with other latency damaging things like RTX, I don’t think I’ll ever use frame-gen. It’s just very noticeable and makes it kind of pointless outside cutscenes for me.
Yeah, this is exactly where I’m at.
A large part of the reason I want higher framerates in the first place is that I want lower latency.
Higher framerates that actually make latency worse make no sense to me.
Downloaded Forspoken demo yesterday, turned on FG and it was horrible, artifacts everywhere, then I remembered it needs vsync, turned it on and it was awesome, it bumped my ~30fps (rx6600 on almost need details) to very comfortable 60fps without any visual glitches
There was this weird metallic glow on everything dark though…

Really looking forward to this for my handheld coming. Hopefully the Z1E works well with this. I returned my Ally waiting for the next big handheld and realized how much it changed the way I game.
