      Yah, it’s gonna be interesting in a few years because the Bengals have historically let players finish out their contract. This being a restructuring means they’re gonna backload again for a future payday, after working Mixon hard this year. Will be interesting to see what the RB market looks like a few years out after the most recent implosion.

      Actually looks like they restructured by moving more to incentives. Looks like this is more Mixon betting on himself and wanting to win now.

    I’m legitimately surprised. Tobin had some really non-committal answers around draft time about Mixon. That, paired with his offseason shenanigans, made me feel like it was a lock that he was going to be released. I actually thought they might bring in Zeke to replace him since he’s elite at pass blocking.
