Nagbalik loob na nga ako sa swimming pool dahil kailangan ko magpractice eh di ko naman kaya mag dagat everyday lol. Nainom ko agad yung tubig kasi walang lasa 💀 at least sa seawater maalat diba? Hahahaha

I got a few laps in, enough to be considered as a cardiovascular exercise. Honestly, the ocean is so much more fun. Sa pool there’s nothing much to look at except the guy with a swimmer’s body on the other lane. That guy swims. That stamina chef’s kiss. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ parang gusto ko manood ng Free! tuloy HAHAHA

Like, if I was in the ocean I don’t even think I’d notice such stuff kasi iba yung focus ko. I’d be oohing and aahing at the corals, the fishes, the waves, the ocean floor, etc. Seriously.

Ocean > Pools. Totally agree. Sure, maganda ang facilities, but sobrang artificial tignan, and the scenery is just meh.

Sa ocean, you’d want to swim as long as you can, especially pag maganda ung view. Just thinking about the ocean makes me miss it.

One of my kratky tomatoes died because I left it outside my overcrowded greenhouse. It filled up with rainwater and drowned 🙃

It didn’t bear fruit anyways (none of my tomatoes have fruit so far - probably because of the heat, or I don’t have the right nutrients), so it’s not that big of a loss, but I should get a bigger greenhouse built.

        Ayoko ng Open World exploration.

I installed a mod way back sa GTA V that could make pedestrians fight/shoot each other like in San Andreas. Took me about 6 months to be motivated enough to continue the main storyline kasi I had another objective of my own:

So yeah pag wala akong strong incentive to continue the storyline. I tear shit up instead lol

Honestly speaking, employment. Working for money isn’t something I envisioned doing, but seems to be a requirement in this dystopian capitalistic society. It takes away from my time, my happiness, and a lot more things. And the little money I get in exchange, I can’t even get to do the things I want to do. It’s all too depressing. Fuck everything and everyone who supports such a shit ass system. Sorry if people are offended by this, just needed a vent.

Great answer - yung time aspect talaga ng working for money yung di ko din matanggap-tanggap. Doing all this from grad (or even earlier) until retirement age (of choice) or until you drop dead… Imagine instead if we have more time to do things we love instead of the things this conveyor belt world expects from us. But wala, ito na yung nadatnan natin.

Having a high-paying job or a lucrative career. Kahit na pa sabihin natin na sobrang taas ng sweldo at sobrang heavenly ng working conditions, hindi pa rin. Just imagining the responsibilities involved, nakaka-stress na.

While I want to earn enough for myself and a perhaps a person or two, to live comfortably, parang okay lang din siguro kung mamatay ako sa gutom kung ang kapalit naman nun is being to live a stress-free life.

I mean, I guess? But also, having already experienced a prolonged period of eating nothing (tubig lang), I think I can get by. Near the end of the first week, I don’t even get hungry anymore, not even after drinking water.

But yeah, I’d rather die of hunger than undergo the stresses of a high-paying yet high-responsibility job/career.

This is what I’m afraid to be at na parang ayaw ko na magpapromote to be honest (increase sahod na lang pwede ba haha). On my industry/tech stack, I know what the next level entails, at recently lang naexperience ko na yung glimpse 😄. I’ll earn significantly more and be surely more comfortable than before, pero lagi akong napapaisip kung sulit ba yung magiging trade off.

Concerts. Not only kasi maraming tao but mostly because you’re expected to participate otherwise KJ ka. I prefer to sit/stand there in silence, listen, soak it in, and occasionally bob my head.

That’s why the only performance I paid for was an Explosions in the Sky gig in Samsung Hall. Konti lang tao and it was post-rock, so instrumental. The freebie shows I went to sa Ayala Malls - Walk The Moon, Owl City, Cobra Starship, Twenty-One Pilots, hindi ko na-enjoy with the crowd singing along from beginning to end and drowning out the vocalist.

It was a thing, until these smartphones rise up and record everything. What’s the point of going to a concert if they’re going to record it and trim it to 15-second TikTok content?

Big events like concerts and cinemas were used to grandiose. Smartphones ruined it.

Hmm…online mobile games? Guys my age play CODM or Mobile Legends or Valorant or something along those lines, but I am barely interested in what they are doing. I’ve played my fair share of online games, though they all were at either my laptop or at an internet cafe PC. Never on my phone. In fact, the only things I can remotely call a game in my phone is a Morse Code Koch trainer, a kanji practice app, and a Reversi/Othello game.

Please do note that some of these options have a bit of a high price point.

      Workshop type dates:

I Did It Myself Bakery sa may Megamall. Basically you both can make a cake from scratch in their kitchen. I do believe they accept walk-ins, but not sure on this.

BakeBePH sa may SM Aura/BGC area. Same concept as IDIMB above, but in BGC area.

Sip and Gogh - you paint, and you can drink wine while you’re painting as a couple. Can’t see anything wrong with that lmao.

Wood Academy and Craft MNL- woodworking workshops (bit pricey)

Tahanan Pottery and Wabi Sabi Studio - If you want to get your Patrick Swayze rizz on (wink), pottery classes are the way to go. I believe there are more pottery studios.

      More Physical/Movement oriented dates:

If you have time to plan ahead, why not try doing a walking tour around manila, preferably with this guide - a bit pricey sa shopee, but it’s a nice plan that you can follow either to the letter, or have happy little couple moments along the way.

    Sana all EU citizen.

The European Council has officially declared that all battery-powered equipment must have removable, easily-replaced batteries by 2027.

The regulation provides that by 2027 portable batteries incorporated into appliances should be removable and replaceable by the end-user, leaving sufficient time for operators to adapt the design of their products to this requirement. This is an important provision for consumers.

    Fuck yeah EU.

Android Authority article can be found here.

Hope a similar bill gets passed here. I’d love to go back to the days where I can keep my phone for a bit longer by giving it a new battery. Limited na nga mga firmware updates e, at least let us have this. Also, mga Samsung users can sort of have their worries eased when faced with a swollen battery.

Because EU, we cannot reverse some accidental Google Street View captures. Someone blurred my relatives’ property at hirap ibenta hanggang ngayon. Outdated na Street View capture nila (2018 pa, at 5 years later dami ng pagbago sa paligid). Not all times EU is right, though. Google cannot reverse it (of course they can, but they will risk lobbying at EU, again).

      A sideways, though, but okay…

I wish that replaceable batteries on smartphones make a comeback. Because of this, nagtagal ang first Android phone ko (Samsung Galaxy Mini) ng anim na taon. Phones with non-replaceable batteries forcing us to buy new one.

I hope so too. Mas convenient mag baon ng maninipis na Anker li-ion batteries na isasalpak mo lang and have a fully charged phone kaysa sa powerbank.

Oof. GDPR related to no? Definitely EU is not the whole paradise one thinks it should be.

I agree though, replaceable batteries and siguro right to repair. Then again I think ok naman yung right to repair seeing as there are quite a good number of phone repair shops. I just hope this country doesn’t take the US route and gouge consumers’ eyes out with exhorbitant fees at an authorized repair center.

10 years ago, I had a Zerolemon battery attached to my phone and it allowed me to last 3 days without a charge. No need to lug around powerbanks or wait for your phone to charge before you touch it again.

Would be awesome to have those times back with the current phones that can’t seem to hold a full charge for more than half the day.

Totoo. Now we have a phone, cable, AND a chonky powerbank we need to bring around and this gets worse as wear and tear gets to your phone unit as the years go by. Maganda rin ung option for other branded battery packs (provided they prove their worth).

I do hope they also give the consumer leeway in the future for right to firmware updates (which is unlikely given the potential of lost profits), but a man can dream.
