They’re screwed unless PG and Kawhi both stay healthy, which has to be a 5% chance at best, but if they don’t sign them what are they going to do, build through free agency? They would be letting go of the two best free agent options.

You run it back until these guys want to retire. The Clippers are one of a couple of teams who have to overpay to build their reputation and get out of the shadow of their previous owner.
Run it back until these guys can’t run anymore. Show the next generation of stars that you are willing to pay and that LAC is a place that will be loyal to its stars.
