    Look at this place. Fifty thousand people use to live in this city. Now it’s a ghost town… I’ve never seen anything like it.

      I remember when it happened. It was terrifying.

      I had polish friends who called home to warn their families. When they started to talk about the meltdown. The phone lines went dead.

        Have you ever seen the Chernobyl mini series? It is very interesting to see how it was handled by the Soviet Union leadership and Nuclear team. I can’t imagine what the fear was like being close to it with the uncertainty.
