Agree, but many huge body actors have basically laid the path for success. The rock has followed the win/lose ratio of 50/50 to not make himself seem boring. Then you have Arnold Schwarzenegger that was very successful taking risks with talented directors. But if I have to choose an actor with a big body who I feel is breaking the mold it is Dave Batista. Man that guy really became an acting force. I feel he has done an amazing job playing Thad Castle and that definitely showed he is not just a boring brute. I think he is right being an unbeatable brute will damage his image if that is all that happens, I loved Reacher because he is put in impossible situations but uses his wit instead of his body to escape the situation. That’s what made Reacher interesting. Yes we know he can fight but Reacher was two steps ahead. I think the last two seasons have been focusing more on physicality instead of ingenuity, not to say there hasn’t been any.
