This feels like an AI article, but assuming its not, they’re keeping their 3nm processes running. Honestly don’t know why they still have their 5nm equipment still running since (as I understand it, which admittedly may be flawed) they’ll never be able to compete on volume or price with chinese 5nm production, let alone 7nm…
What Chinese 5nm/7nm production volume are you referring to?
Loongsun’s, though you’ve got a point and I’m not sure if theres a chinese foundry doing 5nm (there’s plenty of research labs doing 5nm, I guess? But I did mean 7nm not 5nm, apologies)
