German far right wins first major election since World War II

The far-right Alternative for Germany party won the Thuringia state election, dealing a blow to the country’s coalition government.

Björn Höcke being an elected member of the German state, however weak in actual power is not great to say the least. He’s about as literal Nazi as it gets in mainstream German politics.
