The reason I commented the above is that while it’s cool that a westerner is able to see the merits of living in China he still gives out weird NIMBY aura. Like he is enjoying the benefits of a socialist arrangement without understanding properly where they come from.
Interesting video. Although I’m not a fan of the guy. He is clearly pretty bigoted. His choice of China for raising his kids is directly motivated by conservative concerns. Now, I’m not gonna act like safety, absence of drug use, and parental control are bad things by themselves, but he clearly doesn’t understand that capitalist society is the problem, not leftist inclusivity and understanding of diverse issues.
