I sense a great disturbance in the force, as if millions of wallets cried out in pain, and were suddenly emptied.
It got so bad that my wishlist was broken. I could feel the pain through the Internet as others threw money at Valve.
See, the trick is to own everything.
Then you don’t even care about sales anymore because you already own anything and everything thats on sale and interesting.
Celeste is $2 right now and is really good.
Disco Elysium for under €3. Time to get it I guess.
Better to pirate it.
The original devs were kicked out and the current owners are scummy.Guarantee the original team would support this comment.
That’s the reason I haven’t gotten it until now. You may be right though.
If you have been claiming games on EGS, it was free there are some point.
I usually claim the free games but it seems I missed this :(
Wildermyth is a lovely combination of storytelling and xcom-style combat, with a genealogy system and chances for your heroes (and their descendants) to reappear in future games.
UH OH
Do they sell the air conditioners in the background?
I just played through Pony Island and really enjoyed it. It doesn’t have much replayability, but it’s a unique experience that I think most will enjoy. If you like Doki Doki Literature Club, Undertale or Inscryption (last is the same dev), you’ll like this.
I’m going to be picking up The Hex because I’ve liked the dev’s other two games.
Pony Island is super creepy, love it
I heard the best deals happen closer to the end of the sale. Not sure if true.
That used to be the case, back when Steam Sales were a chaotic feeding frenzy of discounts. These days it’s pretty much the same throughout.
I miss waking up at 3am to see what the new 4 hour deals with crazy discounts would be.
I think that was sometimes true in the past, but they ended that practice years ago.
That used to be true with the flash sales, but hasn’t the past few years.
They stopped the flash sales after they implemented their refund policy.
As others have said, prices should be mostly stable, especially for big names, but you still might see a few small devs who were like “Oh shit, its the summer sale, we should add a discount” halfway through.
As far as I’ve seen the prices stay the same throughout.
